Kiev is known for its magnificent architecture: Desyatinnaya church, St. Sophia Cathedral, the Golden Gate with church survived to this day. Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, lso known as the Kiev Monastery of the Caves (XI - XVIII cc.) is male monastery, and represents religious and cultural center of Ukraine.
Lviv The main attractions are the Old town, castle, Arsenal, the Cathedral of St. Jura (XIV - XV cc.).
Odessa The main attractions are Opera House and Potemkin Stairs.
Sevastopol is famous for its fortress, diorama and panorama of the Defense of the city (XIX - XX cc.), the ruins of the Greek colony of Chersonese (I c.).
Chernigiv is famous for its Savior Cathedral (XI c.).

Belgorod Dnestrovsky, Khotin, Kamianets-Podolsk, Zbarazh, Kremenets, Lutsk, Uzhgorod and other cities.
Crimea - a special part of Ukraine. The Crimean Peninsula borders the Kherson region from the North; the rest of the border is the Black Sea in the South and West and the Sea of Azov in the East with its unusual Bay of Sivash and the Strait of Kerch. The area of the peninsula - 27 thousand square km. The Crimea's highest peak is the Roman-Kosh on the Babugan Yayla, 1542 m. above sea level meters high. Most of Crimea has a temperate continental climate with more than 300 sunny days during the year, except for the south coast where it experiences a humid subtropical climate, due to warm influences from the Black Sea.
